Sought-after by powerful drug traffickers as symbols of power or trafficked for their furs or tusks, hundreds of wild animals face serious threats every day around the world. In fact, wildlife trafficking has grown to such an extent that today it is the fourth most profitable illegal trade after drug trafficking, arms trafficking and human trafficking.
